GODFREY, Ill. (KSDK) - A vigil will be held Thursday night for a Metro East bus driver.
Marlin Bushnell, 73, waskilled Sunday night when an SUV crashed into his Godfrey home.
Charges were filed against 24-year-old Jacob Fickle with leaving the scene of a traffic accident resulting in a fatality as well as two misdemeanor charges of domestic battery in connection with the original disturbance. He was also cited for driving with a revoked license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
Bushnell drove for the Alton School District.
His bus we'll be parked outside his home for the vigil, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
