MADISON, Wis. (KSDK) - A St. Louis native was murdered last week at her home in Madison, Wisconsin.
Jennifer Boyce, 31, was a Ballwin native, and graduated from Saint Louis University with a master's degree in epidemiology.
She was killed early in the morning Wednesday, January 23. An apartment manager found her body the following day.
Boyce had separated from her husband, Bernard Grosso, and they were due in court Friday to finalize their divorce.
Grosso, 34, was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound when officers conducted a search of his home overnight.
Police tell WISC-TV in Madison the investigation is being handled as a murder-suicide.
Originally it was reported Boyce had been shot to death, but the medical examiner has released information saying she was killed with an edged weapon.
