Carlos Slim ranked #1 for the fourth year in a row. He is worth $73 billion, up from $69 billion in 2012.
Liliane Bettencourt is now the richest woman in the world. She placed #138 overall, and is worth $30 billion.
Margarita Louis-Breyfus of Switzerland made her first appearance on the list at #198. She is worth $6 billion.
Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York City, came in at #13 at $27 billion. Last year he came in at #20.
Bill Gates came in at #2 this year, worth $67 billion.
Warren Buffett came in at #4 with $53.5 billion. This is the first year he did not place in the top three.
Eike Batista came in at #100 this year. He lost $19.4 billion since last year, the largest amount of money of anyone on the list.
Amancio Ortega came in at #3 this year, worth $57 billion. He moved up two spots from last year.
