ST. LOUIS - A familiar face has returned to Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis.

"The Runner" statue was brought in by crane on Tuesday morning as part of CityArchRiver's arch grounds project.

The Kiener Plaza renovation is expected to be finished by next spring. There are going to be several upgrades, including an interactive fountain garden, a courthouse lawn, and cafe seating for downtown workers who want to enjoy their lunch outside.

The famous fountain is coming back with new lighting. The water will still change colors for special events like Cardinals and Blues playoff games.
