U-Haul offering free storage to flood victims

ST. LOUIS - For some, flooding might be an inconvenience as roads close and commutes are impacted. For others, everything they own may be in danger of being destroyed forever.

U-Haul says it wants to help its communities any way it can, and that's why it's offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to victims of the flood.

“The Meramec River continues to rise and families are already beginning to evacuate,” U-Haul Company of St. Louis president Steve Langford said. “We want to support our communities in any way we can. These people deserve a safe and secure place to store their belongings.”
