Vigil held for teen gunned down in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS - People gathered in a south St. Louis neighborhood this afternoon, to remember a murdered teenager.

Sixteen-year-old Jerrel Johnson was found lying in the middle of Davison Street on Tuesday. He had been shot several times.

On Friday, people gathered at the scene of the crime to pray and release balloons.

So far, there have been no arrests in the case.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a silver car leaving the scene of the crime. Anyone with information is urged to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
