FERGUSON, Mo. - As clashes between police and protesters continue in Ferguson, community leaders are calling on volunteers to help clean up.
One cleanup effort involves several area churches. According to Passage Community Church in Florissant, a few local churches will be going to shopping centers that were looted Sunday night to help clean up and pray.
They will meet at First Baptist Church's parking lot, 333 N. Florissant Road, Ferguson, Mo. 63135 at 10 a.m. work throughout the middle of the day.
Others have already been doing their part to clean up too. Throughout the week local college students have been cleaning up in Ferguson, and they're very passionate about their work, and they encourage anyone who has the time to come out and lend them a helping hand.
