Volunteers needed in Clarksville for sandbagging

CLARKSVILLE, Mo. (KSDK) – Volunteers are needed in Clarksville, Missouri to help sandbag along the Mississippi River.

United Way of Greater St. Louis and AmeriCorps St. Louis urge people to help complete their sandbagging efforts to protect the city from flooding.

They will be sandbagging from Thursday, July 3 through Saturday, June 5 and possibly longer depending on conditions.

Volunteers should check in at 112 Howard St in Clarksville and anyone ages 13-18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
