Warner's Warm-up hosting coat drive

Warner's Warm-Up begins Tuesday. You can donate a used coat for a good cause.

Kurt and Brenda Warner are back this year hosting a coat drive for their Warner's Warm-up program.

The program has collected more than 200,000 coats in the 16 years since its inception, and they are hoping to add to that total this year. The drive will run from Nov. 1 through Nov. 14. You can help by bringing a gently used coat or money donation to one of the designated drop-off areas.

Individuals may drop off new or gently-used winter coats at area FedEx Office, LookAfter Hair Company, Mattress Firm, USAgain bins, Gateway Region Y locations and participating Starbucks, local police stations, and credit unions in the bi-state region.

Monetary donations are also encouraged. A $25 donation can buy a new winter coat for a child in need.
