Women's shelters transformed into sewing rooms

ST. LOUIS - Enchanted Makeovers is a national non-profit organization that transforms shelters for women and children into places that inspire change.

Enchanted Makeovers is here in St. Louis to kick off five new transformations, based on the concept that sewing saves lives.

Terry Grahl, founder of Enchanted Makeovers and Samantha Palmere, with Baby Lock, a leader in the sewing industry, joined First @ 4 Thursday to talk about how sewing saves lives.
