Loch Ness Monster possibly captured on satellite images

INVERNESS, Scotland – Has the Loch Ness Monster finally been captured on satellite imagery? Some people who have taken a look at the area in question on Apple Maps seem to think so.

According to the Daily Mail, two people noticed a strange image while looking at satellite images of Loch Ness on an iPhone late last year.

Flip through the gallery to see the images and the location they were found:

Andrew Dixon told the paper he was just poking around images of his town when he came across the image. He said the first thought that came to him was "That's the Loch Ness Monster!"

Another UK resident also saw the images. Both men forwarded the pictures to the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club, which came forward with the findings.

The Daily Mail reports the image in question has two large flippers and measures around 100 ft. long. They say the official fan club has ruled out most logical explanations, leading them to believe this is likely to be the first sighting of Nessie in a long while.
