Man arrested after stolen car found in Dierbergs parking lot

SHILOH, Ill. (KSDK) – A 47-year-old man is in custody after police found a stolen car involved in a multi-agency pursuit in the parking lot of a Dierbergs Monday.

When Shiloh Police officers arrived at the store – located in the 4000 block of Greemount Crossing – they found the suspect, identified as Thomas Lunceford, inside.

He was taken into custody after a short struggle, and later hospitalized for minor injuries.

He was been charged with unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle, burglary and resisting a police officer. He faces additional charges in Madison County.

Lunceford is currently being held in the St. Clair County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
