Mother offers $1,000 reward for answers about son's murder

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A local mother is offering a $1,000 reward for answers after her son was shot andkilled in a Cahokia mobile home community.

Annette Templeton says her son – 17-year-old Allen Templeton – dreamt of becoming a firefighter. Those dreams were derailed when the Vashon High School senior was found lying in the middle of the street in Pheasant Run Mobile Home Community.

The last person Allen was seen with was a new friend. Police are continuing to investigate the murder, and Annette says she's doing everything in her power to offer assistance.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-371-TIPS. In addition to the $1,000 reward Annette is offering out of her own savings, you could be eligible for more than $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
