ST. LOUIS, MO. - The Rams may have left St. Louis earlier this year, but there's a new sports franchise teasing its way to the St. Louis sports scene.
In April, it was reported both St. Louis and Sacramento were the leading candidates for a 2020 Major League Soccer expansion.
Tuesday, officials with Foundry St. Louis kicked off the first of its 2020Vision Public Engagement Forum. The organization, whose goal is to actively continue discussions with MLS officials to ensure a future in the Gateway City, had an open discussion for feedback from local soccer fans about the creation of a soccer-specific stadium.
Dozens of fans were there to show their support and offer suggestions for what they'd like to see in the stadium.
Foundry St. Louis also unveiled new renderings of a proposed soccer stadium created by local design firm, CannonDesign.

The group says they have possible investors lined up. They've even crunched the numbers and say they would hope to fund stadium construction with mostly private funding.
