We're a week away from Missouri's August 2nd primary and KSDK has the exclusive results from a SurveyUSA poll conducted state-wide last week – including insights into the Republican race for lieutenant governor.

In a survey of likely voters, with a margin of error of 3.6 percent, former Polk County sheriff and state senator Mike Parson leads his well-financed opponent Bev Randles from Kansas City by more than 10 points at 37% and 26% respectively.

On the Democratic side, former Congressman Russ Carnahan has a sizeable lead in the lieutenant governor primary with the support of 57% of likely voters compared to just 11% and 7% for Tommie Pierson and Winston Apple, respectively.
