Scott Air Force Base (KSDK) - Their survival rate for wounded warriors is an impressive 98 percent.
On Monday, the 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron cut the ribbon on a new state of the art facility at Scott Air Force Base.
The new building includes a training facility and replaces a 70-year-old condemned building which contained asbestos and mold.
The 375th treats wounded troops and oversees their transportation to hospitals.
They provided care to 987 wounded warriors last year.
KSDK
