Godfrey, IL (KSDK) -- Police are investigating the theft of a statue from The Nature Institute in Godfrey, the Madison County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
The Institute believes the statue was taken sometime between Friday, May 11 at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, May 14 at 8:30 a.m.
Police describe the statue as an angel child made of medal. The statue stands about 3 feet tall and rests on a concrete pedestal, though the pedestal was not removed.
