Belleville, IL (KSDK) - Belleville police are investigating the robbery of a credit union on Wednesday.
Authorities say around 2 p.m. a man in his mid-20s walked into the Catholic and Community Credit Union and handed the teller a note demanding money. He did not show or indicated he had a weapon.
The suspect then left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, between 5'6" and 5'10" tall. He weighs around 165 to 180 pounds and has short hair. He was last seen wearing plaid shorts, a long-sleeve thermal shirt with a silver design on the front, and a black baseball hat. He may have pock marked skin on his cheeks.
