East St. Louis (KSDK) - Two East St. Louis police officers have been fired after accusations of sexual assault.
Officer Christopher Parks and Officer Ramone Carpenter have been with the department since 2008.
A 25 year old woman claims she was forced to ride in Carpenter's squad car to a park and perform a sex act on him. The incident occurred in May.
She also claims that Parks followed Carpenter to the park and then left.
East St. Louis Mayor Alvin Parks tells us that both of the officers are his cousins.
The two officers have not yet been charged.
