Lindenwood University-Belleville Football Field turf laid down

Belleville, IL (KSDK) - Brace yourself-and maybe your eyes-for a new site at the Lindenwood University-Belleville football field.

The university finished installing its new maroon and grey turf at the football field.

According to Beth Miller, sports information director for the university, LU-Belleville becomes only the fourth college in the country with a non-traditional football field.

It's the first NAIA school to have a non-traditional football field, Miller said.
