Venice, Ill (KSDK) -- Illinois Route 3 construction has been extended through July 27.
Crews began resurfacing a section of the road where concrete has deteriorated. The lane closures will be in the northbound lanes from Broadway to a half-mile north in Venice.
Construction in the area began on July 9.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during the project.
