Litchfield, IL (KSDK) - Megabus officials say the bus involved in the crash near Litchfield Thursday was built in 2011 and passed a full preventative maintenance check within the past week. That maintenance check included tires. Investigators have said a tire blow-out is the likely cause of that crash.

Illinois State Police say they will soon release the driver's identity. They say it is doubtful any citations will be issued in connection to that crash. The driver's injuries are not life-threatening.

The Megabus struck a bridge pillar on southbound Interstate 55 just north of Litchfield.

Meanwhile officials at St. Louis University Hospital say they still have one patient, a 24-year-old man with multiple fractures who's in serious condition.

Barnes Jewish has two patients, one in serious condition and one in fair condition.

St. Louis Children's Hospital still has two patients, both listed in good condition.

Illinois State Police say there were 78 passengers and two drivers on the bus.

In all, 47 were transported to various hospitals.

That Megabus was traveling the Chicago-St. Louis-Columbia-Kansas City route. The one fatality was a Mizzou student, 25-year-old Aditi Avhad, a native of India. Her parents were also on board the bus with her.

A memorial service for Avhad is planned on the Mizzou campus Friday evening.
