Shiloh, IL (KSDK) - A Shiloh, Illinois man has been charged with burglary and sex assault.
Shiloh police say they were called to Yorkshire Lane Sunday, July 29 for a criminal sex assault that had just happened.
Police say the victim told them a man, identified as Raevon D. Mayberry, broke into her home, sexually assaulted her, and stole a laptop while he was leaving.
The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit processed the crime scene.
Mayberry was on parole for robbery, and a no bond warrant for violating his parole was issued.
U.S. Marshals and O'Fallon, Illinois police took Mayberry into custody Tuesday, July 31.
He is charged with criminal sexual assault and residential burglary.
Bond is set at $250,000, and Mayberry is held at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond on both warrants.
