Chicago, IL (CNN) -- An 18-year-old accused of trying to set off a car bomb outside a downtown Chicago bar will be in court this afternoon.
Authorities say on Friday night, Adel Daoud drove the car and pressed what was supposed to be a trigger switch.
That's when he was taken into custody.
The bomb was a fake and given to him by an undercover FBI agent.
The FBI says the agency had been tracking Daoud for months after he allegedly talked over the internet about Jihad and killing Americans.
