CHESTER, Ill. (AP) - Family members of a murdered southwestern Illinois woman and her children are asking a judge to let them move the bodies to the woman's hometown of Chicago.

The mother and brother of Sheri Coleman on Friday asked a Randolph County judge to lift an injunction barring them from moving the remains of Coleman and her sons. Christopher Coleman is serving a life sentence for strangling his family in their Columbia home in May 2009.

The Belleville News-Democrat reports Randolph County Judge Richard Brown granted the temporary restraining order last year. Christopher Coleman's parents requested the order.

The three were buried in Christopher Coleman's hometown of Chester before he was charged.
