O'Fallon, Ill. (KSDK) - An O'Fallon, Illinois, Hardee's restaurant was targeted by an armed robber just after sun-up Tuesday.
Police say the woman entered the restaurant, located in the 100 block of E. Highway 50, around 5:45 a.m.
Authorities say the suspect entered the restaurant with a dark-colored handgun and demanded money.
She left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black woman standing approximately 5'5" tall. She has a thin build and was last seen wearing a black hooded coat, a dark bandana over her nose and mouth, gray gloves, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
No injuries were reported.
A $1,000 reward has been offered by CrimeStoppers for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
