St. Louis County (KSDK) - Investigators in St Louis County say they've arrested a man who thought he was exposing himself to teenage girls online.

Investigators say 27-year-old Michael Schuette exposed himself to a St. Louis County police officer.

Police say Schuette started chatting with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl in a chat room. Then he turned on his webcam.

Schuette, who is from New Douglas in Madison County, Illinois, is charged with sexual misconduct.

He was taken into custody Wednesday.
