COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - Ameren Illinois is preparing to respond Thursday in case the winter storm knocks out power.
Ron Pate, Vice President of Operations and Tech Services for Ameren Illinois, says they will monitor weather conditions for any changes they may need to make. All contractors have been placed on alert and trucks will be fueled and ready to go Wednesday afternoon so they can immediately deploy Thursday morning.
Ameren Illinois Storm Trailers are also ready to deploy if necessary.
Pate says the Ameren Illinois Emergency Operations Center will direct service restoration work.
