
KSDK -- Seventeen students were taken to the hospital following a school bus accident in Cahokia, Illinois.
Police said a bus heading east on Jerome was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Jerome and Paris when it was hit by another driver around 9:00 a.m. The suspect then drove away.

Thirty-nine students and one driver were on the bus, headed to Cahokia High School's East Campus.
Police have a vague description of the suspect. They said it was a female driving a 1993 beige Oldsmobile.
The bus did not have any visible damage. KSDK
