Rosa Parks honored in downtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – An American icon was honored Sunday morning at the Old Courthouse in downtown St. Louis.

Ferguson-Florissant School Superintendent Art McCoy and the St. Louis County NAACP teamed up for the 10th annual Rosa Parks Observance Day celebration.

U.S. Congresswoman Sheilla Jackson-Lee served as the keynote speaker, and recently retired AT&T executive Debrah Hollingsworth received a lifetime achievement award.

The event was sponsored by Ameren Missouri and AT&T Missouri.
