If you're one of the approximately 60 million American taxpayers with an adjusted gross income of $25,000 or less, you qualify for free online tax preparation and filing through the Quicken Tax Freedom Project. This year, Intuit has simplified and expanded the Quicken Tax Freedom Project by raising the income eligibility by $5,000 regardless of which form you file. Eligibility is determined by users' actual tax information when they enter it into TurboTax for the Web, Intuit's online tax preparation and filing service.
