(KSDK) - An employee at a north St. Louis Rally’s Hamburgers restaurant was shot and critically injured Sunday by a robber, police said.
The shooting happened shortly before 10:45 p.m. at the restaurant in the 3700 block of Goodfellow Boulevard.
The man approached the drive-up window and demanded money. He took the cash drawer and then shot the employee in the stomach, police said. The shooter then ran away.
Other employees hid in the freezer when they heard the robber's demands.
The victim, a 32-year-old woman, was listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
Police had no suspects in custody.
