Stray bullet hits downtown St. Louis loft

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – No one was injured when a stray bullet hit a vacant loft apartment after a gunfight in downtown St. Louis early Sunday morning.

The gunfight broke out near the intersection of Washington and Tucker. Police say the gunman was driving a red Chevy Impala in an unknown direction.

Witnesses told police they heard shots fired, but when authorities arrived, they could not find the suspect vehicle or anyone who was involved.

The bullet hit the building which used to house Gus' Fashions.

The incident is currently under investigation.
