Surveillance footage shows burglary suspects

KSDK – Police are looking for the perpetrators responsible for a string of burglaries ranging from St. Charles to Lincoln County.

Surveillance footage shows the perpetrator breaking into two businesses in Hawk Point between 3 and 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 16. He was able to grab about $2,100 in cash from both businesses before fleeing the scene. He also used a crowbar, small sledgehammer and pry bar to break into cash registers, an ATM and vending machines.

Detectives think he may have also helped burglarize Boschertown Bar and Grill in St. Charles on Jan. 6 and Tweeders Bar in Lincoln County on Jan. 7. Both burglaries also happened early in the morning.

Video evidence indicates that two suspects are involved in the crimes: one who drives the getaway truck and another who actually goes into the businesses. The latter has been described as an approximately 6 foot tall white male who wears tennis shoes with a reflective Y on the heel, hoodie and a mask.

Their truck is described as a light-colored 2006 to 2008 Dodge Ram 1400 truck equipped with factory head and fog lights, factory exhaust, no running boards and no ladder racks.

If you have any information about these crimes, call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office at 636-528-8546 or the St Charles County Sheriff's Office at 636-949-7900.
