Teen struck by car trying to cross I-70 dies

LAKE ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The teenage boy who was seriously injured while trying to cross Interstate 70 Monday morning has died, authorities confirm. No charges are expected against the driver who hit him.

Noah Jones, 17, tried to cross eastbound I-70 just east of Lake St. Louis Boulevard. Police say the median in the area is 8-feet tall, which made it impossible for him to scale.
