Vigil held for man killed on bike path

GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KSDK) – Friends, family and strangers took part in a candlelight vigil Sunday night for Jack Hoppe, a father of two who was hit by a car on a bike path Friday morning.

Investigators are still looking for the person involved in the accident.

His family had a desperate plea on Friday for whoever was responsible to come forward

"We just want to know who did this to Jack. He didn't deserve to die like this," said Angela Bivens, an emotional friend.
