Wash U neurosurgeon pens novel about artificial intelligence

KSDK – Scientists are on the brink of developing a new generation of machines and computers that are capable of thinking like humans.

These so-called brain-computer interfaces, and the effect they could have, are the subject of "Red Devil 4."

It's a new novel written by a local doctor: Eric Leuthardt, the director of the Center of Innovation in Neuroscience and Technology at Washington University.
