St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - World Series MVP David Freese helped make the season a little brighter Wednesday morning with a visit to Operation Food Search in St. Louis.
The Cardinals outfielder handed out turkeys to the agencies who will feed the hungry this holiday season.
Operation Food Search distributes more than two million pounds of food and household items each month. Its partners in turn feed 130,000 of St. Louis' most needy, nearly half of whom are children.
