St. Louis (KSDK) -- In the St. Louis area, up to 250,000 people may have recurrent seizures at some point in their lives. 3 million Americans have epilepsy.
The Schulze family spoke with Dana Dean about the impact epilepsy has on their son, Cameron, and their involvement in this weekend's Seize the Day Run/Walk.
The Seize the Day Run/Walk is a 5K run and 1 mile walk through downtown Kirkwood. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas to stop seizures, find a cure and overcome the challenges created by epilepsy.
