Hollywood, CA (CNN) -- Uggie got a special honor today.

The dog who starred in "The Artist" had his paws imprinted in cement in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
He is the first dog and the first cast member from the Oscar-winning movie to receive the honor.
The crowd cheered as the Jack Russell terrier did a bit of showing off before taking his place in history.
