St. Louis (KSDK) - In a new study, The Center For American Progress analyzed lots of federal data and concluded that millions of students don't find school or homework challenging enough.
Can you imagine 4th grade math or 8th grade history being too easy?
The majority of children that responded to the survey acknowledged that was exactly the case.
In fact, the Center for American Progress indicated that these results should be cause for alarm.
Most students aren't in school right now; it's the middle of summer!
NewsChannel5 talked with students, parents and educators about the survey. Educators in the Wentzville School District were surprised to hear the survey results, but are proud of their curriculum.
In high school, the survey showed that 39 percent of 12th grade students rarely write about what they have read about in class.
