St. Louis (KSDK) -- If people in your life aren't giving you feedback, you're in trouble.  You may think all is well.  You're probably wrong.

Our relationship referee, Psychotherapist Pattie Cashman, suggests approaching  feedback as an investigative reporter.  Soak up all the information you can.  Use it to improve yourself.  If you bristle at criticism, go home and cry to your momma for an hour if you need to, but don't dismiss the feedback. It could save your job and your relationships.

If you're boss isn't giving you feedback, ask for it.  Develop a thick skin. Look at it as coaching.  Consider the source, and soak it up like a sponge.
