Des Moines, IA (KCCI) - An unusual sight this morning on the streets of Iowa. Check it out!

A ram led police on a wild chase through Des Moines.

Officers tried corralling the animal with their cars but, as you can see, it just kept running!

The animal's joy run ended at the Capitol, though, after being tackled by officers.

Officers say the ram belongs to a local homeowner, who was keeping it for a friend. Police say they cited the homeowner for having an animal at large.
