ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A new movie theater officially opens Friday in downtown St. Louis.
Dana Dean gave us a preview of MX Movies on Wednesday.
The new theater is part of the $250 million Mercantile Exchange project on Washington Avenue. It's the first theater to open downtown since the screens at Union Station went dark 10 years ago.
MX Movies has three screens and customers can use a tablet computer to order gourmet food.
The theater's first movie is "Django Unchained," playing at 4 p.m. It's also showing "Les Miserables" and "Lincoln."
