KSDK -- The St. Louis Business Journal reported George Clooney's new $30 million movie shoot will bring money and jobs to the St. Louis area.

The paper said the movie will generate 500 jobs, book 6,000 hotel rooms and create an economic impact of at least $50 million.

Shooing for "Up in the Air" will start in mid-February and will take place at 50 locations throughout the area.

Producers will set up a local production office on Monday.

Open auditions for extras will be announced on January 16th.
