YUNNAN, China (EBU) -- The man known in China as the prince of tightrope walking, succeeded in another extreme stunt Sunday.

The man, known as Ahdili, walked along a tightrope suspended over a large gorge in China's Yunnan Province.

The rope was 1,700 feet long and suspended 1,300 feet above the ground.

He did not use any safety devices during the feat. Using just a pole for balance, Ahdili made it safely across the gorge.
