Baby panda gets checkup at San Diego Zoo

SAN DIEGO, CA (NBC) -- The panda cub at the San Diego Zoo is getting to be quite a hand full; more like an arm full.

The 13-week-old cub is getting bigger and stronger by the day; he weighs about 13 pounds now.

Veterinarians at the zoo say he is very healthy and right on track for his age. As a matter of fact, he is even starting to get his teeth.

And soon this little guy will also have a name.

Thousands of people have voted online between five suggested names for the cub and the winner will be announced at a special ceremony on November 17.
