Metromix -- The American Music Awards are just a couple of days away. Country/pop crossover sensation Taylor Swift received the most nominations with six, while the late Michael Jackson got five, thanks to a decision to make his chart-topping greatest-hits collection, "Number Ones," eligible in this year's voting. Eminem received four nominations, while Beyoncé, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Kings of Leon and T.I. scored three nods apiece.
For the third consecutive year, fans can vote for this year's AMA winners on the show's official Web site. The awards show will be broadcast live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on Sunday, Nov. 22 on ABC. So far, performers announced include Alicia Keys, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas.
