Louisville, KY (WHAS/CNN) - Prosecutors introduce new evidence in the case of a missing Sullivan University student.

Gregory O'Bryan will be tried for murder in November.

O'Bryan, accused of murder, sat in court as his lawyer argued with prosecution over new evidence. It could change how both sides prepare for trial this fall.

"Three pieces of what we suspect are flesh were collected from the landfill and four unidentified fluids.
It came as a surprise and we'd like them to provide documentation of when it was found, how it was found and where it was found," said prosecutor Thomas Van De Rostyne.

Three pieces of flesh along with fluid that belongs to O'Bryan was found at his Highlands home and will be sent to a Kentucky State lab for testing. There's no indication if that flesh is even human.

Crime scene techs discovered it at a landfill in Medora, Indiana where dozens of police recruits combed through tons of garbage in 2010. They were never able to find the body of Sullivan University student Andrew Compton.

O'Bryan is charged with murder, sodomy, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Detectives said that O'Bryan downloaded child porn onto his computer and information about GHB, which is a date rape drug. They also say he admitted using alcohol and drugs while the two had sex.

He confessed to throwing Compton's body in a dumpster.

The victim's father talked to WHAS during the search for his son's body.

"We are waiting for them to find Andrew and once they find Andrews they will do an autopsy," said John Compton.

But that never happened. If the flesh is in any way connected to Compton's body, it will have to be matched up against DNA from his parents.
