Las Cruces, NM (KVIA/CNN) - A man in New Mexico now faces charges for forging his ex-wife's signature and selling her home without her permission.
Reuben James Armijo is charged with forgery, perjury and fraud.
The couple divorced in July of 2000.
Armijo's ex-wife was awarded the home in the divorce settlement, but the settlement also allowed him to live in the home and pay rent.
Investigators say Armijo sold the home in December 2010 and made $45,000 from the sale.
